The beautiful illustrations of Aya Kato, pseudonym Cheval Noir, are a wonderful source of inspiration to me. She has such an incredible imagination and flow in her design compositions. Her illustration style is delicate & feminine and yet the overall effect is very strong. I specially like her older works with fairytale themes like: Alice in wonderland and Rapunzel.

Amazing artworks, I’ve found a new artist, thanks!
These illustrations are very good, I wonder how long it takes to create one of these? They kind of resemble the style of your header illustration, which by the way is very, very cool!
I’m not sure how long she takes to make one of those. I saw some of her works displayed on huge canvas of at least 5 m high. Given the amount of details, I reckon her she must spend a fair amount of time on these.
Thank you Loswl. Yes I guess my banner was partly influenced by Aya, she’s one of my favorite illustrators.
Carine, how did you do your banner art? It’s fabulous and truly breathtaking.
